DISCLAIMER: Be Careful! Skating (of all kinds) is a dangerous sport. There's never been a skater yet who hasn't taken the occasional tumble. So... Always, always wear a helmet. Other safety gear includes elbow, knee pads, wrist guards or sliding gloves. Never skate in traffic. Empty parking lots with varying terrain are the best for carving. Don't go faster than your ability. A beginner shouldn't skate faster than they can run. Be respectful! If the sign says No Skating, don't skate there. We want to the community to love ALL skaters!
